Snow globe morning
This morning, I enjoyed a cup of coffee as Brie and I watched snow lightly fluttering to the ground and it reminded me of when you shake a snow globe. As we watched the snow fall, we figured out what to do on such a perfect day. There were so many options since the weather wasn't too cold, we could go play outside.
If you can find a hill, or slightly sloped yard, it's a perfect day for sledding/tubing. There is also going out to Dry Hill Ski Area to get some runs in or to do some tubing with the family. They offer lessons for kiddos as young as 3 and are open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Note: the tubing hill doesn't open until noon.)
Or if you just want to stick around your house, you can always attempt building a snowman. I have great memories of building snowman in my childhood (and actually, my adulthood too.)
We are waiting for the sun to come out and then I'm thinking we will see how the cross-country skiing is out at Tug Hill Region in the Winona Forest Recreation Area.
Whatever you find to do today, I hope you generate warm memories with your family!
