Indoor Activities
This is a continuation of Tuesday's blog, because I find I'm staying inside more now that it has turned cold, blustery and windy outside. I thought I'd share some sites that have some fun craft ideas or activities to do with kids indoors that doesn't involve the television or computer.
A very creative friend turned me on to Kiwi Magazine. It is a fantastic online magazine with great parenting information plus some activities and crafts to do with children. I found this fun and easy necklace to make with your kids.
My little sis introduced me to Tip Junkie and am amazed and overwhelmed with all the many creative types out there in the blogging world. Since I'm not crafty or artistic, I've picked some crafts that don't look overwhelming. For those of you were are not beginner level, I recommend checking out Tip Junkie and finding some activities you'd like to do with your kiddos. Hopefully, my daughter will have picked up a creative/artistic gene from somewhere else in our gene pool!
Since Valentine's Day is coming up, here's fun Valentine craft to do with your kiddos. And you have the option to use paint (fun and messy) or to just use crayons and markers to make this Valentine Tree.
This Crazy Circles art project is not a Valentine craft, but something fun to do with crayons and paper. If you want to continue on after you've finished that part, you can continue on to do this batik craft. How fun does that look? I've got this on my rainy day to do list!
Kiwi Magazine also has a page full of fun activities that you can print off and do. Check those activities out here.
