Flying Kites

Where I grew up, flying kites was something we did back in March.  Lately, though, it's been perfect kite flying weather.  Maybe a little bit more wind would help the kite fly longer but Mat, Brie and I have been enjoying the attempts.  The lawn at Wehle State Park is nice and flat, which allows you plenty of room to run around with the kite without worrying about it getting entangled in trees. 

I think our next challenge might be to try flying the kite at the El Dorado Beach Preserve!
